There are lots of different growing media for plants. Experts differentiate between organic and inorganic substrates. Coco coir, a waste product from the coconut industry, is an organic substrate, like garden soil, peat substrates, and compost, for example.

BioBizz Coco Mix is a long-lasting, 100% pure coco substrate, extracted from the fibres of the coconut – arguably the best on the market. It has a high capacity for storing oxygen and offers your plants a loose, aerated substrate, in which it can thrive.

BioBizz Coco Mix is suitable for use in hydroponic systems as an alternative to rockwool. You can even use it to fill small plant pots. Before using, make sure to break the fibres down and water the substrate. After doing so, you will have the perfect growing medium with a pH value of 5 to 6.

BioBizz Coco Mix is the perfect substrate for cultivating plants, especially for ericaceous plants. It can also be used for the regeneration of All-Mix and other soil mixtures to improve the nutrient supply. BioBizz Coco Mix also works excellently when combined with plant fertilisers containing minerals.

Note: Coco coir retains less water than peat substrates, for example, so it may require more frequent watering. Therefore, overwatering is practically impossible with this product.
